त॑ चिन्तयानमासीन धृतराष्ट्र जनेश्वरम् । निःश्वसन्तमनेकाग्रमिति होवाच संजय:,महाराज धुृतराष्ट्रको लंबी साँस खींचते और उद्विग्नचित्त होकर चिन्तामें डूबे हुए देख संजयने इस प्रकार कहा
taṁ cintayānam āsīnaṁ dhṛtarāṣṭraṁ janeśvaram | niḥśvasantam anekāgram iti hovāca sañjayaḥ ||
سنجے نے، لوگوں کے سردار دھرتراشٹر کو، جو فکر میں ڈوبا بیٹھا تھا، لمبی آہیں بھرتا اور دل کو یکسو نہ کر پاتا تھا، دیکھ کر یوں کہا۔
