भ्राजमाना तथात्यर्थ दधार परमं वपु: । वह सब ओरसे दस हजार हाथ विस्तृत थी (अर्थात् उसकी लंबाई और चौड़ाई भी दस- दस हजार हाथ थी)। जैसे अग्नि, सूर्य और चन्द्रमाकी सभाभवन प्रकाशित होती है, उसी प्रकार अत्यन्त उद्धासित होनेवाली उस सभाने बड़ा मनोहर रूप धारण किया
Vaiśampāyana uvāca | bhrājamānā tathātyarthaṁ dadhāra paramaṁ vapuḥ |
وَیشَمپایَن نے کہا—وہ سبھا نہایت درخشاں ہو کر انتہائی شان و شوکت کے ساتھ جلوہ گر ہوئی۔ روایت ہے کہ وہ چاروں طرف سے دس ہزار ہاتھ تک پھیلی ہوئی تھی۔ جیسے آگ، سورج اور چاند کی روشنی سے کوئی محل جگمگا اٹھتا ہے، اسی طرح وہ سبھا بھی اپنی غیر معمولی تابانی سے دلوں کو مسحور کرنے لگی۔
