Jarāsandha’s fall, liberation of kings, and request for support
स्वर्गमार्गाय कस्य स्याद् विग्रहो वै यथा तव । मागधेरविंपुलै: सैन्यैर्बाहुल्यबलदर्पित:
svargamārgāya kasya syād vigraho vai yathā tava | māgadher avipulaiḥ sainyair bāhulya-baladarpitaḥ |
ہمارے ساتھ جو جنگ تمہاری ہونے والی ہے، وہ تمہارے لیے سَورگ کے راستے کا جیسا آسان وسیلہ بن سکتی ہے، ویسی جنگ اور کس کو میسر ہے؟ مگر مگدھ کی بےپناہ فوجوں اور قوت کی فراوانی کے گھمنڈ میں آ کر دوسروں کو حقیر نہ جانو، نہ ذلیل کرو۔ اے راجن، ہر انسان میں کچھ نہ کچھ زور اور شجاعت ہوتی ہے؛ کسی میں تمہارے برابر جلال ہے، اور کسی میں تم سے بھی بڑھ کر۔
