Jarāsandha–Bhīma Niyuddha-prastāvaḥ

Commencement of the Regulated Duel

स्ववीर्य क्षत्रियाणां तु बाह्वोर्धाता न्यवेशयत्‌ । तद्‌ दिदृक्षसि चेद्‌ राजन द्रष्टास्यद्य न संशय:,विधाताने क्षत्रियोंका अपना बल उनकी भुजाओंमें ही भर दिया है। राजन! यदि आज उसे देखना चाहते हो तो निश्चय ही देख लोगे

svavīryaṃ kṣatriyāṇāṃ tu bāhvor dhātā nyaveśayat | tad didṛkṣasi ced rājan draṣṭāsy adya na saṃśayaḥ ||

خالق نے کشتریوں کی اپنی دلیری ان ہی کے بازوؤں میں رکھ دی ہے۔ اے راجن، اگر تم آج اسے دیکھنا چاہتے ہو تو بےشک دیکھ لو گے—کوئی شک نہیں۔
