Sabhā Parva, Adhyāya 20

त्रिभिरासादितो5स्माभिविंजने स नराधिप: | न संदेहो यथा युद्धमेकेनाप्युपपास्यति

tribhir āsādito ’smābhir viṁjane sa narādhipaḥ | na saṁdeho yathā yuddham ekenāpy upapāsyati ||

وایو نے کہا—جب ہم تینوں کسی خلوت جگہ میں اُس راجا جراسندھ کے پاس جائیں گے تو وہ بلا شبہ ہم تینوں میں سے کسی ایک کے ساتھ یک بہ یک (دُوَند) جنگ قبول کر لے گا۔ عزّت کے ٹوٹنے کے خوف سے وہ انکار نہ کر سکے گا؛ اور مہابلی بھیم سین سے لڑنے کی لالچ اور اپنے بازوؤں کی قوت کے غرور میں مست ہو کر جراسندھ یقیناً بھیم کے ساتھ جنگ کے لیے آمادہ ہو جائے گا۔
