मागधगिरिव्रजप्रवेशः — Entry into Girivraja and Jarāsandha’s Protocol Inquiry
तिष्ठतो मथुरायां वै कृष्णस्याद्भुतकर्मण: । एकोनयोजनशते सा पपात गदा शुभा
tiṣṭhato mathurāyāṃ vai kṛṣṇasyādbhuta-karmaṇaḥ | ekona-yojana-śate sā papāta gadā śubhā, bhārata |
وَیشَمپایَن نے کہا—جب عجیب و غریب کارناموں والے شری کرشن مَتھُرا میں ہی مقیم تھے، تب وہ مبارک گدا سو یوجن سے ایک یوجن کم فاصلہ طے کر کے مَتھُرا میں آ کر گری۔
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Unchecked enmity and pride can project violence across great distances, but the narrative also frames events under the watch of higher, extraordinary agency—suggesting that power must be governed by restraint and dharmic judgment.
Vaiśampāyana reports that while Kṛṣṇa was living in Mathurā, an excellent mace—thrown from far away—landed there, described as falling at a distance just short of one hundred yojanas.
