nānāpraharaṇair ugrair vātir iva mahājavaiḥ | vṛtaḥ sakhāyam anvāste sadaiva dhanadaṃ nṛpaśreṣṭha ||
The verse highlights the awe-inspiring power that surrounds divine wealth and authority: Kubera’s presence is not merely opulent but protected and attended by formidable forces, suggesting that prosperity is inseparable from responsibility, order, and guarded power.
Nārada describes a scene in the celestial context of the Sabha narrative: a mighty figure, encircled by swift and fearsome weapon-bearing attendants, continually remains seated near Kubera (Dhanada), emphasizing Kubera’s stature and the formidable company around him.
