Chapter 6: Dāruka’s Report; Arjuna Witnesses Dvārakā’s Desolation (दारुकवृत्तान्तः—अर्जुनस्य द्वारकादर्शनम्)
आखेयेयं तस्य यद् वृत्तं वृष्णीनां वैशसं महत् । “पुरुषप्रवर पिताजी! आज इस कुलका संहार हो गया। अर्जुन द्वारकापुरीमें आनेवाले हैं। आनेपर उनसे वृष्णिवंशियोंके इस महान् विनाशका वृत्तान्त कहियेगा ।। स तु श्रुत्वा महातेजा यदूनां निधन प्रभो
ākheyeyaṁ tasya yad vṛttaṁ vṛṣṇīnāṁ vaiśasaṁ mahat | “puruṣapravara pitāji! āja isa kulakā saṁhāra ho gayā | arjuna dvārakāpurī meṁ ānevāle haiṁ | ānepara unase vṛṣṇivaṁśiyoṁ ke isa mahān vināśakā vṛttānta kahiye gā || sa tu śrutvā mahātejā yadūnāṁ nidhana prabho”
اُسے وِرِشْنیوں پر نازل ہونے والی اس عظیم آفت اور قتلِ عام کی پوری روداد سنا دینا۔ ‘اے مردوں میں برتر، محترم پتا جی! آج اس کُل کا صفایا ہو گیا۔ ارجن دوارکا نگری کی طرف آ رہا ہے؛ وہ آئے تو وِرِشْنی وَنش کے اس عظیم تباہی کا پورا حال اسے بتا دینا۔’ یہ سن کر صاحبِ جلال پروردگار نے یادَووں کی ہلاکت کی خبر جان لی۔
