कर्णनिधनश्रवणम् — Hearing of Karṇa’s Fall and Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Lament
सध्वजा: सायुधा: शूरा: सवर्माम्बरभूषणा: । कालेन महता यत्ता: कुशलैयें च वर्धिता:
sadhvajāḥ sāyudhāḥ śūrāḥ savarmāmbarabhūṣaṇāḥ | kālena mahatā yattāḥ kuśalaiś ca vardhitāḥ ||
وہ جھنڈوں اور ہتھیاروں سے آراستہ بہادر تھے، زرہ بکتر پہنے ہوئے، عمدہ لباس و زیور سے مزین۔ طویل مدت کی نظم و ضبط سے سنورے اور ماہرانہ تربیت سے مضبوط ہو کر، مہایُدھ کے قریب آتے ہی پوری طرح تیار کھڑے تھے۔
