Adhyāya 41 — Kṛṣṇa’s Battlefield Briefing and the Renewal of the Great Engagement
युद्धे सहिष्पे हिमवानिवाचलो धनंजयं क्रुद्धममृष्यमाणम् । 'वृक्षोंकी तोड़-उखाड़ देनेवाली प्रचण्ड वायुके समान प्रमथनशील
yuddhe sahiṣpe himavān ivācalaḥ dhanañjayaṁ kruddham amṛṣyamāṇam | vṛkṣāṇāṁ toḍa-ukhāḍa-dāyinī pracaṇḍa-vāyur iva pramathanaśīlaḥ balavān prahārakuśalaḥ toḍa-phoḍa-kārī tathā amarṣīlaḥ kruddha arjunasya vegaṁ adya ahaṁ yuddhasthale himālaya-parvata-samānam acalaḥ bhūtvā sahiṣye ||
سنجے نے کہا—اس جنگ میں میں دھننجے (ارجن) کے اس یورش کو سہوں گا جو غضبناک ہے اور توہین برداشت نہیں کرتا۔ وہ درختوں کو توڑ کر اکھاڑ دینے والی تند ہوا کی مانند کچل دینے والا، طاقتور، ضرب لگانے میں ماہر اور تباہ کن ہے؛ پھر بھی آج میدانِ جنگ میں میں ہمالیہ کی طرح بے جنبش کھڑا رہ کر اس کے زور کو برداشت کروں گا۔
