एवमुक्तः प्रत्युवाच तरयम्बकं वरदं प्रभुम् उनके ऐसा कहनेपर परशुरामने वरदायक भगवान् त्रिलोचनको इस प्रकार उत्तर दिया
evam uktaḥ pratyuvāca tryambakaṃ varadaṃ prabhum
یوں مخاطب کیے جانے پر پرشورام نے ور دینے والے، سہ چشمہ پروردگار تریَمبک کو اس طرح جواب دیا۔
