Transliteration

tataḥ śara-sahasrāṇi prādurāsan viśāmpate

Translation

سنجے نے کہا—تب، اے رعایا کے سردار، ہزاروں تیر یکایک نمودار ہوئے اور میدانِ جنگ کو بھرنے لگے۔ ٹکراؤ کے بڑھتے ہی یہ عیاں ہوا کہ جنگ میں انسانی عزم کس تیزی سے ہولناک تشدد میں ڈھل جاتا ہے۔
