अभ्यर्दितस्तु तैर्जिष्णु: शक्रतुल्यपराक्रम:,इति श्रीमहाभारते कर्णपर्वणि संशप्तकजये सप्तविंशोध्याय:

ان کے ہاتھوں سخت دبایا گیا جِشنو—جس کا پرَاکرم شکر کے برابر تھا—ڈٹا رہا اور لڑتا رہا۔ یوں مہابھارت کے کرن پَرو میں ‘سنشپتک جَے’ کے ضمن میں ستائیسواں باب اختتام کو پہنچا۔
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights steadfastness under pressure: even when assailed by many, the righteous warrior maintains courage and composure, embodying kshatriya-dharma through disciplined valor rather than panic or retreat.
Sanjaya reports that Arjuna, compared in might to Indra, is being heavily attacked by the opposing fighters (linked with the Samsaptakas episode) and continues to resist and fight; the line also functions as a chapter-colophon in the text.
