sañjaya uvāca |

aśvāstara-paristomān rāḍakavān patitān bhuvi |

Translation

سنجے نے کہا—دیکھو، گھوڑوں اور خچّروں کے قیمتی غلاف اور ساز و سامان زمین پر پڑے ہیں۔ جھنڈوں کے اگلے سروں میں ہاتھیوں کے سنہری کمبل الجھ گئے ہیں؛ اور گھوڑوں کی پیٹھ پر بچھائے جانے والے عجیب و غریب، جواہرات سے جڑے، سونے سے آراستہ رنکو ہرن کی کھال کے بنے جھول اور زین بھی خاک پر گرے پڑے ہیں۔
