अथार्जुनो ज्यातलनेमिनि:स्वने मृदड्भभेरीबहुशडखनादिते । रथाश्वमातड्रसहस्रसंकुले रथोत्तमेनाभ्यपतद् द्विपोत्तमम्
athārjuno jyātalaneminīḥsvane mṛdaṅgabhērībahuśaṅkhanādite | rathāśvamātaṅgasahasrasaṅkule rathottamenābhyapatad dvipottamam ||
سنجے نے کہا—پھر جہاں کمان کی ٹنکار اور رتھ کے پہیوں کی گڑگڑاہٹ گونج رہی تھی، مِردنگ، بھیری اور بے شمار شنکھوں کی آوازیں بلند تھیں، اور جہاں ہزاروں رتھ، گھوڑے اور ہاتھی بھرے ہوئے تھے—اسی میدانِ جنگ میں ارجن اپنے بہترین رتھ پر سوار ہو کر اس گجِ برتر کے قریب جا پہنچا۔
