एतस्मिन्नन्तरे जिष्णुर्जित्वा संशप्तकान् बहून्
etasminn antare jiṣṇur jitvā saṁśaptakān bahūn
سنجے نے کہا—اسی دوران جِشنو (ارجن) نے بہت سے سنشپتکوں کو زیر کر کے پیش قدمی جاری رکھی۔
संजय उवाच
Even amid chaos, disciplined effort and steadfast resolve can overcome opponents driven by rigid vows; the verse highlights perseverance and martial duty (kṣatriya-dharma) without losing focus in the larger ethical struggle of the war.
Sañjaya reports that Arjuna (called Jiṣṇu) has, in the interim, defeated many of the Saṁśaptakas—warriors specially pledged to engage him—indicating Arjuna’s continued dominance in that ongoing engagement.
