कण्ठसूत्रैरड्रदैश्व निष्कैरपि च सप्रभै: । अन्यैश्षाभरणैश्षित्रैर्भाति भारत मेदिनी
kaṇṭhasūtrair āḍhyaiś ca niṣkair api ca saprabhaiḥ | anyaiś cābharaṇaiś citrair bhāti bhārata medinī ||
شری کرشن نے کہا—اے بھارت! یہ زمین (میدانِ جنگ) چاروں طرف گرے ہوئے کَنتھ سُوتر، دولت و جلال سے بھرپور اور روشن نِشک، اور بہت سے دوسرے رنگا رنگ زیورات سے چمک رہی ہے۔ قتل و غارت کے بیچ بھی یہ جنگجوؤں کی نشانیاں بکھر کر جنگ کی قیمت اور غرور کی ناپائیداری کو خاموشی سے ظاہر کرتی ہیں۔
