Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca |

nṛtyamānā vyadṛśyanta rajo-madhye vilāsikāḥ |

indrāyudha-savarṇābhāḥ patākā bharatarṣabha ||

Translation

سنجے نے کہا—گرد و غبار کے بیچ وہ پَتاکائیں یوں دکھائی دیتی تھیں گویا اسٹیج پر ناچنے والی حسینائیں ہوں، جنہیں ہوا حرکت دے رہی ہو۔ اے بھرتوں کے سردار! اندردھنش جیسے رنگوں سے دمکتی وہ جھنڈیاں میدانِ جنگ کے اوپر رقصاں نظر آتی تھیں۔
