Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca | kāñcanāḥ kāñcanapīḍāḥ kāñcanasragalaṅkṛtāḥ | kāñcanānīva śṛṅgāṇi kāñcanasya mahāgireḥ ||

Translation

وہ جھنڈے سونے کے تھے؛ سونے ہی کے کنگوروں سے مزیّن، اور سونے کی مالاؤں سے آراستہ۔ وہ گویا سنہری مہاپربت سُمیرُو کی سنہری چوٹیوں کی طرح جگمگا رہے تھے۔
