तस्य ते निशितान् बाणान् संनिवार्य महारथा:
sañjaya uvāca | tasya te niśitān bāṇān saṁnivārya mahārathāḥ | atāḍayan raṇe bhīṣmaṁ sahitāḥ sarvasṛñjayāḥ ||
سنجے نے کہا—اس کے تیز تیروں کو روک کر وہ مہارَتھی—تمام سرنجیہ سورماؤں کے ساتھ متحد ہو کر—جنگ میں بھیشم پر ٹوٹ پڑے۔ ہر سمت سے دھاوا بول کر انہوں نے ہتھیاروں کی ہولناک بارش سے پِتامہ کو ستایا اور رزم کے شور میں مسلسل دباؤ ڈالتے رہے۔
