भीमसेनस्य बहुमहारथसंयुगः

यतो भीष्मस्ततो राजन दुष्प्रेक्ष्यो रश्मिवानिव । राजन्! तब भगवान् श्रीकृष्णने चाँदीके समान श्वेत वर्णवाले घोड़ोंको उसी ओर हाँका, जहाँ अंशुमाली सूर्यके समान दुर्निरीक्ष्य भीष्म युद्ध कर रहे थे || ४० हू ।। ततस्तत् पुनरावृत्तं युधिष्तचिरबलं महत्
sañjaya uvāca | yato bhīṣmas tato rājan duṣprekṣyo raśmivān iva | rājan! tadā bhagavān śrīkṛṣṇena cāndīke samānaśveta-varṇavāle ghōṛoṅko usī ora hāṅkā, jahāṅ aṃśumālī sūrya ke samāna durnirīkṣya bhīṣma yuddha kar rahe the ||
سنجے نے کہا—اے راجن، جہاں جہاں بھیشم کھڑے تھے وہاں وہ شعاعوں والے سورج کی مانند نگاہ کے لیے ناقابلِ برداشت، دش پرےکش دکھائی دیتے تھے۔ پھر بھگوان شری کرشن نے چاندی کی طرح چمکتے سفید گھوڑوں کو اسی سمت ہانکا، جہاں انشومالی سورج کی مانند درخشاں اور دشوارِ دید بھیشم جنگ کر رہے تھے۔
