भीष्म-पर्व अध्याय १०० — त्रिगर्त-आक्रमण, भीष्म-केन्द्रित पुनर्संयोजन, तथा शक्त्यस्त्र-विनिमय
संस्तूयमान: सूतैश्न मागधैश्व महायशा: । पूजयानश्च तान् सर्वान् सर्वलोकेश्चरेश्वर:
saṁstūyamānaḥ sūtaiś ca māgadhaiś ca mahāyaśāḥ | pūjayānaś ca tān sarvān sarvalokeśvareśvaraḥ || (evaṁ sa prayayau rājā sarvasainyasamāvṛtaḥ |)
یوں عظیم الشان شہرت والا بادشاہ دُریودھن، سوتوں اور ماغدھوں کی مدح سرائی سے سراہا جاتا ہوا، گویا تمام جہانوں کا فرمانروا، ان سب کی عزت افزائی کرتا رہا۔ اس طرح وہ بادشاہ پوری فوج کے حصار میں، ان کی تعریفیں سنتا اور سب کو اکرام دیتا ہوا (بھیشم کے لشکرگاہ کی طرف) آگے بڑھتا گیا۔
