Adhyāya 90: Babhruvāhana’s Reception and the Commencement of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Aśvamedha
इत्युक्तवाक्ये धर्मे तु यानमारुह्ु स द्विज:
ity uktavākye dharme tu yānam āruhuḥ sa dvijaḥ
جب دھرم نے یوں کہا تو وہ دْوِج اس وِمان پر سوار ہو گیا۔
श्षशुर उवाच
The verse highlights prompt alignment with Dharma: after righteous instruction is given, the proper response is disciplined action—here symbolized by the dvija mounting the vehicle to proceed as directed.
After Dharma finishes speaking, the twice-born man acts on that guidance and mounts a conveyance, marking a transition from counsel to movement and the next event in the episode.
