ततो गाण्डीवधन्वा तु मागधेन भूशाहतः । बभौ वसनन््तसमये पलाश: पुष्पितो यथा
tato gāṇḍīvadhanvā tu māgadhena bhūśāhataḥ | babhau vasantasamaye palāśaḥ puṣpito yathā ||
پھر مگدھ کے راجا کے تیروں سے سخت زخمی ہو کر، گانڈیوا دھاری ارجن خون میں نہا کر چمک اٹھا؛ وہ بسنت کے موسم میں کھلے ہوئے پلاش کے درخت کی مانند شاندار دکھائی دیتا تھا۔
