Āśvamedha-dīkṣā-nirdeśaḥ — Scheduling the Initiation and Assigning Protection for the Horse
अश्वमेधो हि राजेन्द्र पावन: सर्वपाप्मनाम् । तेनेष्टवा त्वं विपाप्मा वै भविता नात्र संशय:,राजेन्द्र! अश्वमेधयज्ञ समस्त पापोंका नाश करके यजमानको पवित्र बनानेवाला है। उसका अनुष्ठान करके तुम पापसे मुक्त हो जाओगे, इसमें संशय नहीं है
aśvamedho hi rājendra pāvanaḥ sarvapāpmnām | teniṣṭvā tvaṃ vipāpmā vai bhavitā nātra saṃśayaḥ ||
اے راجندر! اشومیدھ یَجْن تمام گناہوں کو مٹانے والا پاکیزہ عمل ہے۔ اسے ادا کرنے کے بعد تم یقیناً گناہ سے پاک ہو جاؤ گے—اس میں کوئی شک نہیں۔
