यद् दुर्लभं हि लोकेडस्मिन् रत्नमत्यद्भुतं महत् | तदानयेयं तपसा न हि मे<त्रास्ति संशय:
yad durlabhaṁ hi loke 'smin ratnam atyadbhutaṁ mahat | tad ānaye'yaṁ tapasā na hi me 'trāsti saṁśayaḥ ||
گوتَم نے کہا—“اس دنیا میں جو نہایت نایاب، عجیب و غریب اور عظیم جواہر ہو، اسے بھی میں تپسیا کی قوت سے لا سکتا ہوں؛ اس میں مجھے کوئی شک نہیں۔”
