य एवं वृत्तसम्पन्न: स मुनि: श्रेष्ठ उच्यते । जिस कामके करनेसे समाजके दूसरे लोग अनादर करें
ya evaṁ vṛttasampannaḥ sa muniḥ śreṣṭha ucyate |
وایو نے کہا—جو اس طرح کے منضبط سلوک سے آراستہ ہو، وہی بہترین مُنی کہلاتا ہے۔ جس کام کے کرنے پر سماج کے دوسرے لوگ بے ادبی کریں، وہ بھی وہ پرسکون رہ کر ہمیشہ درست اور دھارمک کام کرتا رہے؛ مگر نیک لوگوں کے دھرم کی کبھی مذمت نہ کرے۔ جو اس برتاؤ میں کامل ہو، وہی حقیقتاً شریشٹھ مُنی ہے۔
