छायातपविलेखं च निमेषोन्मेषविद्धलम्‌ | घोरमोहजलाकीर्ण वर्तमानमचेतनम्‌

Transliteration

chāyātapavilekhaṃ ca nimeṣonmeṣaviddhalam | ghoramohajalākīrṇaṃ vartamānam acetanam ||

Translation

وایودیو نے کہا— یہ (دنیاوی گزر) سایہ اور دھوپ کے الٹ پھیر سے خراشیدہ ہے، زمانے کے مسلسل نِمیش و اُنمیش سے چاک چاک ہے، ہولناک موہ کے پانیوں سے لبریز ہے، اور حقیقی آگہی کے بغیر ہی بہتا چلا جاتا ہے۔
