सम्मोहोऊज्ञानमत्याग: कर्मणामविनिर्णय: । स्वप्न: स्तम्भो भयं लोभ: स्वत: सुकृतदूषणम्
vāyudeva uvāca | sammoho 'jñānam atyāgaḥ karmaṇām avinirṇayaḥ | svapnaḥ stambho bhayaṁ lobhaḥ svataḥ sukṛtadūṣaṇam | tatra tatra niyamyante sarve te tāmasā guṇāḥ |
وایو نے کہا— فریبِ نظر (مَوہ)، جہالت، ترک سے انکار، اپنے اعمال کا فیصلہ نہ کر پانا، نیند و سستی، جمودِ ارادہ، خوف، لالچ، اور اپنے ہی نیک اعمال میں عیب نکالنے کی عادت— یہ سب تَمَس (تَمَوگُن) کی نشانیاں ہیں؛ انہی کے زیرِ اثر انسان بار بار قابو میں آتا اور بندھ جاتا ہے۔
