Even after catastrophic conflict, dharma expresses itself through restraint, service, and humane regard for the suffering of others. Kuntī’s act of presenting Sahadeva as ready to serve Gāndhārī highlights ethical repair: honoring elders, acknowledging shared grief, and rebuilding bonds through seva rather than triumphalism.
Kuntī sees Sahadeva, embraces him intensely, and then tells Gāndhārī that Sahadeva is present to attend upon her. Immediately afterward, Kuntī turns with eager emotion toward Yudhiṣṭhira, Bhīma, Arjuna, and Nakula, indicating a charged reunion scene marked by maternal affection and post-war sorrow.
