Puṣkara-Śapatha Itihāsa (Agastya–Indra Dispute at the Tīrthas) | पुष्कर-शपथ-आख्यानम्

ज्ञातीनां गृहमध्यस्था सक्तूनत्तु दिनक्षये । अभोग्या वीरसूरस्तु बिसस्तैन्यं करोति या

jñātīnāṁ gṛhamadhyasthā saktūn attu dinakṣaye | abhogyā vīrasūrastu bisastainyaṁ karoti yā ||

وشوامتر نے کہا—جس عورت نے مِرنال/بِسا چُرایا ہو، وہ اپنے کنبے کے بیچ گھر میں رہتے ہوئے بھی رسوا رہے گی، دن کے آخر میں صرف ستّو کھائے گی؛ داغ دار ہو کر شوہر کے دَامپتی سُکھ کے لائق نہ رہے گی؛ اور برہمنی ہو کر بھی کشتریہ مزاج کا سخت، جنگجو بیٹا جنے گی—یہ اس کے گناہ کا پھل ہے۔
