Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa
Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results
तद् वै सर्वानतिक्रम्य देवदानवराक्षसान् | मानुषानथ गन्धर्वान् नागानथ च पक्षिण:
tad vai sarvān atikramya devadānavarākṣasān | mānuṣān atha gandharvān nāgān atha ca pakṣiṇaḥ ||
بھیشم نے کہا— “وہ دیوتاؤں، دانَووں، راکشسوں، انسانوں، گندھرووں، ناگوں اور پرندوں— سب پر سبقت لے کر— اپنے اَموگھ اَستر-बल سے اُس اسور کو وध کرے گا جس سے تمہیں خوف پیدا ہوا ہے؛ اور دوسرے دیو-شत्रुओं کو بھی نیست و نابود کر دے گا۔”
