Shloka 8
ब्रह्मोवाच हुताशनो न तत्रासीच्छापकाले सुरोत्तमा: । स उत्पादयितापत्यं वधाय त्रिदशद्विषाम्,ब्रह्माजी बोले--सुरश्रेष्टण! उस शापके समय वहाँ अग्निदेव नहीं थे। अतः देवद्रोहियोंके वधके लिये वे ही संतान उत्पन्न करेंगे
brahmovāca hutāśano na tatrāsīc chāpakāle surottamāḥ | sa utpādayitāpatyaṃ vadhāya tridaśadviṣām ||
برہما نے کہا— “اے سُرَشریشٹھو! جس وقت وہ شاپ دیا گیا تھا، وہاں ہُتاشن اگنی دیو موجود نہ تھا۔ اس لیے دیوتاؤں کے دشمنوں کے وध کے لیے وہی ایک اولاد پیدا کرے گا۔”
