Śrāddha-Kalpa: Pitṛ-Pūjā and Tithi-Phala (श्राद्धकल्पः पितृपूजा च तिथिफलम्)
पावन सर्वभूतानां तेजोद्युतिविवर्धनम् । विपाप्मा च स तेजस्वी तेन क्रतुफलेन च
pāvanaṃ sarvabhūtānāṃ tejodyutivivardhanam | vipāpmā ca sa tejasvī tena kratuphalena ca ||
وہ (یَجْن کا پھل) تمام جانداروں کو پاک کرنے والا اور تَیج و دَیوتی بڑھانے والا ہے۔ اسی یَجْن کے پھل سے وہ گناہ سے پاک اور نورانی شان والا ہو گیا۔
