नियमानां फल राजन प्रत्यक्षमिह दृश्यते | नियमानां क्रतूनां च त्वयावाप्तमिदं फलम्‌,राजन! संसारमें नियमोंके पालनका फल तो प्रत्यक्ष देखा जाता है। तुमने भी यह नियमों और यज्ञोंका ही फल प्राप्त किया है

niyamānāṁ phala rājan pratyakṣam iha dṛśyate | niyamānāṁ kratūnāṁ ca tvayāvāptam idaṁ phalam, rājan ||

بھیشم نے کہا—اے راجن، ضابطوں اور پابندیوں (نیَم) کی پیروی کا پھل اسی دنیا میں کھلے طور پر دکھائی دیتا ہے۔ اے راجن، تم نے بھی یہ نتیجہ اپنے نیَموں اور یَجْن (قربانی کے مراسم) کے ثمر کے طور پر ہی پایا ہے۔
