पूपान्‌ पुनर्वसौ दत्त्वा तथैवान्नानि शो भने । यशस्वी रूपसम्पन्नो बद्धन्नो जायते कुले

Transliteration

pūpān punarvasau dattvā tathaivānnāni śobhane | yaśasvī rūpasampanno baddhānno jāyate kule ||

Translation

نارد نے کہا—اے شوبھنے! پُنَروَسو کے وقت میٹھے کیک (پوپ) اور اسی طرح اناج کا دان کرنے سے انسان اعلیٰ خاندان میں جنم لیتا ہے؛ وہاں وہ نامور، خوش صورت اور کثرتِ غلہ سے مالا مال ہوتا ہے۔
