Adhyāya 59: On Giving to the Asker and Supporting the Non-asking (याचक-अयाचक-दाने धर्मः)
बाढमेवं करिष्यामि काम त्वत्तो महामुने । ब्रह्मभूतं कुलं मे5स्तु धर्मे चास्य मनो भवेत्
bāḍham evaṁ kariṣyāmi kāma tvatto mahāmune | brahmabhūtaṁ kulaṁ me 'stu dharme cāsya mano bhavet ||
راجا بولا—“بہت خوب، میں ایسا ہی کروں گا۔ مگر اے مہامنی! میں آپ سے ایک ور مانگتا ہوں: میرا خاندان براہمنانہ خصلت والا ہو جائے اور اس کا دل ہمیشہ دھرم میں لگا رہے۔”
