Gaṅgā-māhātmya: Siddha–Śilavṛtti-saṃvāda and Gaṅgā-stava (गङ्गामाहात्म्यं—सिद्ध-शिलवृत्ति-संवादः)
यः प्रवृत्तां श्रुतिं सम्यक् शास्त्र वा मुनिभि: कृतम् । दूषयत्यनभिज्ञाय त॑ विद्याद् ब्रह्मघातिनम्
yaḥ pravṛttāṃ śrutiṃ samyak śāstraṃ vā munibhiḥ kṛtam | dūṣayaty anabhijñāya taṃ vidyād brahmaghātinam ||
بھیشم نے کہا—جو شخص صحیح فہم کے بغیر، نیک عمل کا حکم دینے والی شروتی یا رشیوں کے تصنیف کردہ شاستر کی مذمت کرے، اسے بھی برہمن کا قاتل، یعنی برہماہتیا کا مرتکب جانو۔
