Chapter 2: Sudarśana Upākhyāna — Atithi-Dharma and the Conquest of Mṛtyu

Gṛhastha-Vrata

इदं यः कथयेद्‌ विद्वानहन्यहनि भारत । सुदर्शनस्य चरितं पुण्याँलल्‍लोकानवाप्रुयात्‌,भरतनन्दन! जो विद्दान्‌ सुदर्शनके इस चरित्रका प्रतिदिन वर्णन करता है वह पुण्यलोकोंको प्राप्त होता है-

idaṁ yaḥ kathayed vidvān ahany ahani bhārata | sudarśanasya caritaṁ puṇyān lokān avāpnuyāt ||

اے بھارت کے فرزند! جو عالم سُدرشن کے اس کردار کو روز بروز بیان کرتا ہے، وہ پُنّیہ لوکوں (نیک عوالم) کو پہنچتا ہے۔
