देवासुरगणाध्यक्षो देवासुरगणाग्रणी: । देवातिदेवो देवर्षिदेवासुरवरप्रद:

Transliteration

devāsuragaṇādhyakṣo devāsuragaṇāgraṇīḥ | devātidēvo devarṣir devāsuravarapradaḥ ||

Translation

وایو نے کہا—وہ دیو و اسور کے گروہوں کا صدر و سرپرست ہے، اور انہی میں پیشوا و پیشرو ہے۔ وہ دیوتاؤں سے بھی برتر دیو ہے، ایک دیویہ رِشی ہے، اور دیو و اسور دونوں کو ور (نعمت) عطا کرنے والا ہے۔
