महानासो महाकम्बुर्महाग्रीव: श्मशानभाक् । महावक्षा महोरस्को हान्तरात्मा मृगालय:
mahānāso mahākambur mahāgrīvaḥ śmaśānabhāk | mahāvakṣā mahorasko hy antarātmā mṛgālayaḥ ||
وایو دیو نے کہا— وہ بڑی ناک والا، گھنے گلے والا اور عظیم گردن والا ہے؛ وہ شمشان (جلانے کے گھاٹ) میں کھیلتا ہے۔ اس کا سینہ وسیع اور دھڑ پھیلا ہوا اور طاقتور ہے؛ وہی سب جانداروں کی اندرونی روح (انتر آتما) ہے، اور وہی مخلوقات کا سہارا—جو حیوانوں کے بچوں تک کو شفقت سے گود میں اٹھا لیتا ہے۔
