भिक्षश्व भिक्षुरूपश्न विपणो मृदुरव्यय: । महासेनो विशाखश्न षष्टिभागो गवां पति:

bhikṣuś ca bhikṣurūpaś ca vipaṇaḥ mṛdur avyayaḥ | mahāseno viśākhaś ca ṣaṣṭibhāgo gavāṃ patiḥ ||

وایو دیو نے کہا—وہ بھکشو ہے اور بھکشو کا روپ دھارنے والا بھی؛ وہ خرید و فروخت اور سودے بازی سے ماورا، نرم خو اور اَویَی (ناقابلِ زوال) ہے۔ وہ مہاسین اور وِشاکھ ہے؛ وہ ‘شَشٹھی بھاگ’ ہے (سال کا ساٹھ حصّوں میں منقسم روپ)؛ اور وہ ‘گَواؤں’ کا پتی ہے—یعنی حواس کا مالک۔
