Anuśāsana-parva 17
उग्रो वंशकरो वंशों वंशनादो हाुनिन्दित: । सर्वाड्ररूपो मायावी सुहदो हुनिलोडनल:
vāyudeva uvāca | ugro vaṁśakaro vaṁśo vaṁśanādo 'ninditaḥ | sarvāṅgarūpo māyāvī suhṛd anilo 'nalaḥ ||
وایودیو نے کہا—وہ اُگْر ہے—پرلَے کے وقت ہیبت ناک صورت اختیار کرتا ہے؛ نسب/وَنس کا بانی بھی ہے اور خود وَنس کا پیکر بھی؛ بانسری کی نغمگی (کرشن کے روپ میں) اسی سے ہے۔ وہ بے عیب و بے ملامت، کامل الاعضا، صاحبِ مایا؛ بے سبب رحمت کے ساتھ سب کا خیر خواہ دوست؛ اور وہی اَنِل (ہوا) اور اَنَل (آگ) کے روپ میں بھی موجود ہے۔
