मुज्च भार्यामुतथ्यस्य कस्मात् त्वं हृतवानसि । “वरुण! तुम मेरे कहनेसे मेरी पत्नीको छोड़ दो। तुमने क्यों उसका अपहरण किया है? तुम लोगोंके लिये लोकपाल बनाये गये हो
muñca bhāryām utathyasya kasmāt tvaṁ hṛtavān asi
“اُتَتھیہ کی بیوی کو چھوڑ دو۔ تم نے اسے کیوں اٹھا لیا؟ تم تو لوک پال مقرر کیے گئے ہو، سماجی نظم کے تباہ کرنے والے نہیں۔ سوم نے اپنی بیٹی مجھے دی ہے؛ وہ میری شرعی/دھارمک زوجہ ہے۔ پھر آج تم نے اسے کیسے اغوا کیا؟” اُتَتھیہ کے کہنے کے مطابق نارَد نے آب کے مالک ورُن سے یہی کہا: “اُتَتھیہ کی عورت کو چھوڑ دیجیے؛ آپ نے اسے کیوں اغوا کیا؟”
