The colophon situates the preceding discourse within dāna-dharma—ethical instruction on giving—implying that generosity, properly guided by dharma, is a central virtue being taught through the dialogue framework.
This verse is a concluding colophon: it announces that the chapter titled “Pavana–Arjuna Dialogue” has ended, placing it within the Anuśāsana Parva and specifically the dāna-dharma section.
