सनात्‌ सनातनतम:ः कपिल: कपिरप्यय: । स्वस्तिद: स्वस्तिकृत्‌ स्वस्ति स्वस्तिभुक्‌ स्वस्तिदक्षिण:

sanāt sanātanatamaḥ kapilaḥ kapir apyayaḥ | svastidaḥ svastikṛt svasti svastibhuk svastidakṣiṇaḥ ||

بھیشم نے کہا—وہ ازل سے ہے، سب میں سب سے زیادہ قدیم؛ وہ کپل ہے اور کپی بھی؛ وہی وہ آخری لَے ہے جس میں سارا جگت واپس سمٹ جاتا ہے۔ وہ مبارک خیریت عطا کرنے والا ہے، پناہ لینے والوں کی بھلائی کرنے والا ہے؛ وہ خود عینِ خیر و برکت ہے؛ وہ بھکتوں کے اعلیٰ ترین بھلے کی حفاظت کرتا ہے؛ اور فلاح پہنچانے میں نہایت قادر اور تیز رفتار ہے۔
