Bhīṣma’s Yogic Departure, Royal Cremation, and Gaṅgā’s Lament

The verse highlights tejas (divine radiance/power) as an ethical-spiritual force that inspires awe and remembrance of sacred precedents; wonder becomes a doorway to recollecting dharmic and divine narratives rather than mere spectacle.
Nārada addresses Kṛṣṇa, stating that a second extraordinary occurrence has just taken place due to Kṛṣṇa’s radiance; witnessing it astonishes the observers and triggers recollection of an earlier incident associated with Śaṅkara (Śiva).
