Educational Q&A

That dharma-aligned action and intention lead to assured results: fulfillment of rightful aims in life and attainment of heaven after death, presented as a certainty without doubt.

Bhīṣma, in his instruction (Anuśāsana) to Yudhiṣṭhira, concludes a promise of spiritual and moral reward, affirming that the person under discussion will have desired aims fulfilled and will attain svarga after death.
