Bhīṣma’s Yogic Departure, Royal Cremation, and Gaṅgā’s Lament (भीष्मस्य योगयुक्त्या देहत्यागः, पितृमेधः, गङ्गाविलापः)
दैतेया दानवेन्द्राश्ष महाकाया महाबला: । चक्राग्नौ क्षयमापन्ना दावाग्नौ शलभा इव
daiteyā dānavendrāś ca mahākāyā mahābalāḥ | cakrāgnau kṣayam āpannā dāvāgnau śalabhā iva ||
بھیشم نے کہا—بہت سے عظیم الجثہ اور نہایت طاقتور دَیتّیہ اور دانوؤں کے سردار شری کرشن کے چکر کی آگ میں یوں ہلاک ہو گئے ہیں جیسے جنگل کی آگ میں پتنگے جل کر راکھ ہو جاتے ہیں۔
