न कुट्यां नोदके सड़्ो न वाससि न चासने । न त्रिदण्डे न शयने नाग्नौ न शरणालये
na kuṭyāṃ nodake saṅgo na vāsasi na cāsane | na tridaṇḍe na śayane nāgnau na śaraṇālaye ||
مہادیو نے فرمایا—جو مرد موکش کا آرزو مند ہو، اسے کٹیا، پانی، لباس اور آسن سے چمٹاؤ نہیں رکھنا چاہیے؛ نہ تریدنڈ سے، نہ بستر سے، نہ مقدس آگ سے، اور نہ ہی کسی پناہ گاہ سے۔ موکش کے طالب کو، تپسیا کی زندگی کے سہاروں تک کے ساتھ بھی، ملکیت کے احساس اور بیرونی سہارا لینے کی عادت ترک کرنی چاہیے۔
